Jadhavaji Education Society is a pioneer educational institution in the border area of Karnataka and Maharshtra is celebrating its centenary this year i.e. 2018-19 inspired by Lokmanya Tilak visit in the year 1917. Five young men and teachers in the real sense, Shri Appu Master Jere, Shri Venkatrao Joshi, Kokatnur Tamma Master and Govindrao Deshpande dare to establish the school in the year 1918 to begin with 30 students on the role and now in 2018 our society has stretched its feathers in large scale and today we have education facilities from KG to PG with strength of 6000 students supported by 300 teachers.

Initially the school was started in Nippanikar Wada and then shifted to Odhavaji Bhate’s Jinning Factory and it was named as Anglo Vernacular School under the banner of Athani Education Society.
